Florida Residents: Surplus funds recovery services are regulated by Florida Statutes. You are not required to use a third party to recover funds. You may claim funds directly from the Clerk of Court in the county where the foreclosure occurred.

New York Residents: Surplus funds recovery activities may be subject to oversight by the New York State Department of Financial Services. You have the right to pursue surplus funds directly through the court system without the involvement of a third party.
